McCain Launches the new limited edition Spicy Wedges with a surprise intersection giveaway

McCain South Africa recently upped the spice and launched the new limited-edition McCain Spicy Wedges by surprising people travelling home from work on Friday the 3rd of November.  People travelling past M68 and Klipspruit Valley Road in Soweto, Johannesburg were given a free pack of McCain Spicy Wedges to try out.

The new limited-edition McCain Spicy Wedges are the perfect big bite, crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside with a hint of spice. Overall 2000 pack of McCain Spicy Wedges were handed out to people travelling through the intersection, in the hopes of adding spice to their Friday night dinners.

Mrs Ball’s hosts the first of six “Its What’s Inside Pop-Up Experience around the country
Mrs Ball’s Chutney recently hosted its first “It’s What’s Inside Pop-Up Experience,” at La Rosa Mexican Grill in Honeydew, Johannesburg. 

The Mrs Ball’s “Its What’s Inside Pop-Up Experience” was created to bring to life the newly launched online Mrs Ball’s Food Market, your digital recipe inspiration guide. “We wanted to create an experience for consumers to taste and see how Mrs Ball’s can be incorporated into different cuisines and dishes,” says Adley Reddy, Brand Manager for Mrs Ball’s Chutney.

Chef Greg Brown, from La Rosa Mexican Grill, pulled out all the stops with his Mrs Ball’s inspired menu. This included a deliciously fresh shrimp cocktail starter made with the Mrs Ball’s Light Chutney which added a little bite to the dish.

McCain South Africa is Awarded The President’s Safety Awards

McCain South Africa is proud to announce that its Springs Plant has been awarded with the President’s Safety Award this year. This award is recognition for safety excellence as well as commitment to the global safety principles.

The President’s Award is a reward for safety and achieving a total incident rate of 0.70 and below. For McCain Spring Plant, they had to prepare and create continuous awareness at the plant for the award.
